Microbe Categorization Task
Web-based behavioral experiment - Converted from MATLAB/Psychtoolbox
📋 What This Task Does
Participants categorize microbe images based on the number and length of their spikes into 8 different locations (cave, beach, city, etc.). The task features:
- Progressive category unlocking
- Sequential presentation with occasional revisits
- Real-time response collection
- Automatic data export to CSV
- Dynamically generated microbe stimuli
⚠️ First Time Setup: Run the setup tests first to verify all files are present. You'll need to add your scene images to stimuli/scenes/ folder. See README.md for details.

🎯 Running the Experiment
With a local server:
python3 -m http.server 8000
Then navigate to:
http://localhost:8000/experiment.html
